There wasn’t much to like in Øverland’s Spring 2010 collection. There was leather. Heaps of leather (her signature). Done in jackets, dresses, skirts, bustiers. It was too much, especially when ruched it looked tortured and cheap bar the first look. The ruching continued on an unflattering orange silk dress then moved through to some uninspired silk tops and dresses done in a black and white dot print that erred on the forgettable side of the 90’s. Also, the crinkled silk jacket was too Prada two seasons ago.
